Howdy all! We are really excited about this year’s Salt & Light Summer Kickoff – who wouldn’t be!?
We’re totally pumped to announce that this year we’re going to be having our capture the flag game on House Island in Portland Harbor!
House Island is less than a mile long and, of course, surrounded by water!

When is this amazing capture the flag extravaganza? I’m glad you asked!
June 19th is the fateful day!
We’ll be meeting at the church at 8:30 a.m. so we can be to the dock in time to be picked up by the ferry.
We’ll be boarding the ferry to leave around 4pm and will plan to be back at WBC around 5:30.
How much is this going to cost? Why, you’re full of excellent questions!
We’re applying our Late Night rules to this one, $5 and a bathing suit (and yes, a towel please)
The $5 will go toward food and parking.
Do we bring lunches?
Nope! We’re going to have a BBQ outdoors, so just bring your appetite!
